I’m building up more excitement for my complete Captain America party recap. You’ll get to see this weekend how simple it was to put together these inexpensive and easy DIY projects for a red, white, and blue-tastic playdate. Today I’m going to show you how to make this felt Captain America mask. So simple and the perfect addition to a Captain America shirt for an easy costume.
For our superhero party I sent each kid home with their own DIY Captain America costume. A super simple shirt, easy mask, and a one step shield. It was such a hit our party guests were spotted wearing them as they drove home. If you can cut and glue you can do this.
blue & white felt
blue ribbon
hot glue/fabric glue
Directions:
Use the attached template to cut out your pattern for the mask.
Pin or trace your template onto the felt. Cut out all your blue masks.
Cut the “A” from the mask template.
Trace the “A” onto the white felt and cut out.
Glue the “A” onto the mask.
Attach two 14″ blue ribbons with glue to the sides of the mask.
