The following craft was created with supplies provided by Oriental Trading Company.  Bring a bit of winter magic to your home with this easy DIY snow globe terrarium.

This year I got a jumpstart on the Christmas season with some crafting. It’s the first year in our new home and I couldn’t wait to start trimming our house inside and out with a sprinkle of cold weather magic. So I brought a little bit of the cold winter to the desert with this super simple snow globe terrarium.

This took me under 10 minutes to assemble with a handful of supplies from Oriental Trading.  The best thing is I secured nothing down so you can store the pieces for next year and use the terrarium all year.  I love decor that can be used beyond one season.

Directions:
Place about 1 cup of fake snow in the bottom of the terrarium globe.

Place it on a mantle or table with some more wintery decor for a beautiful holiday display.  The gorgeous buffalo check table runner, tree, and birch log pictured are all from Oriental Trading as well.

That is so cute Kelly! Love the vase you used! It’s perfect for it, and it just occurs to me that I have a very similar vase that I could use to make one, and here I have been thinking I didn’t have the right vessel. So you just inspired me.
