Disc Volleyball
This week the whole family enjoyed a day outside playing a new game, disc volleyball.  After heading to Walmart to stock up on our favorite Goldfish® Whole Grain Cheddar crackers we enjoyed the rest of the day running around and enjoying the gorgeous weather.

Disc Volleyball
Goldfish crackers makes it easy to make smarter choices when selecting snacks for my kids.  In fact these baked cheddar crackers are something I still enjoy myself.  A little taste of nostalgia while bringing the kid in me out playing outdoors!  Thankfully I stocked up on bulk sizes of the Goldfish Whole Grain Cheddar crackers and Xtra Cheddar so the kids won’t notice if I “borrow” a few handfuls at snack time.

Disc Volleyball
To make snacking easy and mess free when we are playing outdoors I use a wide-mouth bottle to dispense the Goldfish crackers.  It’s a totally portable solution and eliminates the need for extra bowls that ultimately get left outside.  Then the kids can snack between rounds of disc volleyball easily.

Disc Volleyball
To make the disc volleyball paddles you just need a couple supplies, no sewing required.

Disc Volleyball
Supplies:
large plastic embroidery hoops
1/2 yard lycra or athletic mesh fabric
hot glue

Directions:
Cut a fabric square just a bit larger than your embroidery hoop.

Disc Volleyball
Stretch the fabric over the embroidery hoop.  Pull until the fabric is mostly taut.  You want it to be tight enough, but still have the naturally stretch of the fabric so the ball will bounce.

Disc Volleyball
Trim the fabric and secure with hot glue around the edge of the hoop.  For extra measure I applied a bead of hot glue to both the top and bottom of the hoop.

Disc Volleyball
Grab a ball and get ready to make the ball launch!  It’s best to play in a large open area like a park, because these discs can really make the balls fly.  2 players might have lost a ball to the neighbors yard, oops.

Grab everything you need to make the disc volleyball game and make snacktime fun at Walmart with Goldfish® crackers.   The Snack That Smiles Back®  Snack time and playtime, the perfect recipe for making memories!
