[…] cute, right?  My son’s preschool just did their card exchange yesterday.  So for now we’re storing all his adorable cards in the tote bag he made. […]

  • Peeking through the cracks as my oldest practices for his talent show audition. I couldn’t be more proud! He’s been a performer since the day he could walk. He’s stubborn and it’s hard sometimes to get him to reason. Once he opens his mind and heart to the sage advice mom and dad have he was on board. He’d been working on Ukulele all school year with dad, they’ve practiced this song, and he knows it pretty well off book. But he really wanted to audition a Michael Jackson song and dance- in under 2 weeks. 😬 It’s not that we don’t think he couldn’t pull it off (next year), but we’re working on seeing things through to the end and making choices that are based in reason and passion. Any one else have a little one that is a jack of all trades? #talentshow #disney #moana #ukelele #lava #someonetolava #learning #practice
  • Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, are you ready? This year we went homemade box and store bought cards. In past years we’ve always done simple printable cards with a little bit of added fun. Usually small toys I picked up for pennies each. Need a last minute printable valentine? Visit the link in my profile for tons of Valentine’s Day ideas. #valentinesday #printable #homemade #card #valentines #valentinecard #cute #kids #fun #schoolvalentines #school #freeprintable
  • Spent yesterday morning at the @thefarmarizona at a lovely brunch hosted by @kodiakcakes. 🥞 First visit to The Farm and I can’t wait to return to try one of their 3 on property restaurants.
Brunch was delicious, and we got to try out some of the Kodiak Cake products. Our family has only done the original flapjacks and can’t wait to test out the Chocolate Chip. Have you tried Kodiak Cakes before? They’re packed with whole grains and protein, and oh so yummy!

  • Soccer season starts up again on Monday. So I crafted up some fun shirts for the crew cheering from the sidelines. I love that with my @officialcricut Maker and and EasyPress I can quickly make up t-shirts for any occasion. It’s a blessing and a curse, because now the kids want shirts for everything! Interested in learning how to get started creating with Cricut iron-on materials and tools? Hop over to the blog. #cricut #ad #cricutmaker #cricutmade #ironon #irononvinyl #customshirts #easypress
  • This is too good not to share. He went to bed a 6 year old last night, woke up 100! If you were here this morning he would’ve waved his cane at you (which he made) and yelled, “Get off my lawn!”. 😂 #100thdayofschool #100daysofschool #100 #costume #school #kindergarten #toocute #hilarious #oldman #cutiepatootie #suspenders #bowtie #grandpa #100yearsold #makeup #stagemakeup
  • My husband has been a loyal @floyds99barbershop customer for years, so when they reached out to work together I jumped. #ad I thought I’d treat him to a day of pampering, which I did, but turns out they specialize in services for the whole family. Perfect! We made a day out of it. We’ve actually taken both boys before and they did such a great job making them comfortable. .
We both got the works! Husband couldn’t have been more delighted by his cut and shave. And let me tell you it was wife approved too, LOVE the groomed fade! In addition to services, they also have a line of men's grooming products that are DEA, sulfate and paraben-free. #WinWin .

  • I’ve been dreaming of this oversized chalkboard since we moved in almost 2 years ago. This large wall is an awkward space. The pantry doors swing into it so isn’t the best spot for shelves or furniture. It was just begging for an oversized hanging piece! I finally got around to completing this project this past fall. We loved having a place to add a little seasonal art throughout the fall and winter holiday season. The kids love helping come up with designs and adding their own artistic flair. #chalkboard #rustic #farmhouse #farmhousedecor #diy #diydecor #rusticdecor #home #diyhomedecor #chalkart #chalkboards
