Fall Vintage Truck Shirt Design

11/14/2017

This fun fall vintage truck shirt design captures the feeling of the season.  So cute with little pumpkins bumping around in the bed.  Easily cut out vinyl for shirts or scale down for fun Thanksgiving cards.

Fall vintage truck
I know fall has been in full swing for a couple months everywhere else, but it’s barely fall temperatures here in Arizona.  We only get a few weeks of fall decor before Christmas goes up everywhere.  Out come the long sleeve shirts and the beautiful fall colors of burnt orange and harvest gold.  So this year I decided to make some fun fall shirts to usher in the fall weather and the feeling of the season.

Last year my mother in law hand drew a couple different styles of hand-drawn vintage trucks to print out and decorate her packages with.  She did such an awesome job I re-worked them into layers to create a couple different vintage truck cut files.  I’m sharing how I assembled the fall vintage truck shirt today, but come back later to grab your free Holiday vintage truck cut file too.

Supplies:
fall vintage truck Cricut cut file
black heat transfer vinyl (HTV)
orange HTV
silver foil HTV
white HTV
iron or Easy Press

Cricut Maker
Use the Cricut cut file to cut the image out of the 4 different vinyls.  You could also switch out the color of the truck for a deep forest green or something fun like burgundy!

Press the first truck layer down.  Pay close attention to the heat and time settings for your selected heat transfer vinyl.

Layer on the tires and bumper.  Make sure to allow the foil bumper to cool to the touch before removing the plastic transfer sheet.

Finally add the headlights, pumpkins, and white tire layer to finish off your white wall tires.

It’s really as simple as sizing, cutting, layering your vinyl, and pressing.  4 easy steps and you’ve got a trendy shirt for fall.
