It’s 3:00 and hunger sets in. You’re stranded at work, what do you do?  Grab a SNICKERS® full of roasted peanuts, fluffy nougat, caramel, and creamy milk chocolate.

My husband is a teacher and this is often the case when school lets out.  I decided to create an emergency chocolate stash in, what better than, a first aid box. This way it hides in plain sight.

As a former teacher I know sometimes a little snack can be a lifesaver.  Something to prevent hanger from setting in. You know that feeling, you’re not quite you when you’re hungry, right?  Creating your own snack stash is simple!

Directions:

Select your favorite metal tin. Metal is a good choice if you’ll be keeping it in your office. I couldn’t find a classic first aid box like I wanted so I DIYed my own.

First a little red spray paint.  A couple coats covered up a clearance tin perfectly. tip: Place your tin on stilts to prevent it from sticking to your protective paper.

Finish your box off with the addition of an emergency plus sign (is there an official name for that symbol?).  I cut mine on my electonic cutting machine, but you could easily find one in a vinyl numbers set too.

Print out the candy wrappers and cut to size, ~4.25″ x 3.75″ for a standard SNICKERS® bar.

Place the candy bar face down over the emergency chocolate label. Secure with a strip of double sided tape.

This would be a fun teacher, nurse, or secretary appreciation gift.  Something to control the hunger so you can focus on the important things in life.  Find a SNICKERS® solution to your hunger problems right in the checkout aisle at Walmart.
