Hey everyone, welcome back for day 3 of the Holidays Made Easy blog hop. Today we’ve got a fantastic list of everyone’s favorite holiday cookie. Last year I shared my family’s favorite, Molasses Cookies, so it was off to find a different recipe to share. We love mint around here so I decided it was time to create a new holiday classic.

These chocolate mint m&m cake batter cookies definitely met our criteria. A soft cookie with just a hint of peppermint topped with our favorite candy, mint m&m’s. They were a hit with the whole family.

Don’t those look so yummy. A very simple recipe for such a delicious cookie. We love Funfetti cake cookies; I was excited to apply that recipe to chocolate. I’ve definitely found my new cookie batter base; easy to doctor up with fun toppings and mix-ins.

Chocolate Mint M&M Cake Batter Cookies

Ingredients

1 box devil's food cake mix
1/3 c. vegetable or canola oil
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
2 eggs
1 c. mint m&m's

Instructions

Preeat oven to 350°F (
In large bowl, combine cake mix, oil, mint extract and eggs.
Drop 1-inch balls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Top with 3 m&m's
Bake 9 to 11 minutes until set. Cool 1 minute; then transfer to cooling racks.
