Fall in Love with Baby {shower}

It’s the end to my whirlwind fall, filled with parties and lots of baby showers.  This past weekend I got to celebrate another friend and her little one debuting next year.  Her talented family picked the perfect gender neutral theme for an October shower, fall in love with baby and I was lucky enough to help.  I had the privilege of taking pictures and just had to share this adorable party.

As the guests arrived we were immediately greeted with all things fall.  It was a truly inspired theme and my favorite kind of party decor.  Something you can reuse and perfectly timed for harvest time.  The yard sign was a simple fence post accented with an adorable message.  So cute and would be perfect personalized when baby arrives to make the announcement.  

Every party needs a wreath, right?  And this one did a great job at being multipurpose.  A simple fall leaf wreath accented with a jute wrapped monogram letter.

I loved the use of chalkboards everywhere.  Instead of food labels, chalkboards were decorated with the colors of fall and a sweet little message.  Catch the Where the Wild Things Are reference on one of them?!   Perfect for my elementary school teacher friend.

The details were just amazing! Tiny felt rosettes, mini pumpkins, pinecones, tree slices, and branches brought the feeling of fall to the desert.  The flowers were vibrant with hues of green, red, and orange arranged in various sizes of mason jars.

The food of course fit the theme too.  The main dishes all came in slow cookers.  From chili to pulled pork and chicken sandwiches served with corn bread muffins.  The dessert table was an explosion of fall flavors.  Mini pumpkin cupcakes, acorn donut holes, apple pie, and petit tarts.  There was even a S’mores station setup outdoors for later in the evening.
