The end of school is nearing and life is getting busy. Between performances, field trips, and projects we’re definitely pressed for time. I might be a work at home mom, but that doesn’t mean I’m any more equipped to get dinner on the table when life gets hectic. I depend on semi-homemade meals and frozen meals to provide simple meal solutions in a pinch.  A few years ago I was introduced to Kidfresh meals as best in kids nutrition and a quality solution to mealtime.

On quick fix meal nights the last thing I want to deal with is a messy table. Spills of Kidfresh Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese and crumbs from the Kidfresh Super Duper Chicken Nuggets are a breeze with these waterproof placemats.  They are easy to print up, laminate, and prep with a slip-resistant backing.

Supplies:
cactus printable
cardstock
laminating pouch
thermal laminator (or iron)
hot glue gun
hot glue

Directions:
Print out cactus printable or coloring sheet on cardstock.

Center printable in laminate pouch. Send through laminating machine.

Flip placemat over. Add lines, dots or zig zags of hot glue across the back of the placemat.

Flip back over and set the table for a delicious and quick mealtime. When dinner is over simply shake and wipe down your cute cacti placemat.

Seriously, how cute are those little cacti. As a native Arizonan raising two desert boys I can’t get enough of the cactus trend right now. They pair perfectly on our rustic farmhouse table for summer, ready to catch all the crumbs and spills.
