Vintage Laundry Decal
adhesive vinyl
medium trash can

Vintage Laundry Hamper Decal - directions

Directions:
Cut out the vintage laundry decal using an electronic cutting machine on black vinyl. Weed out the extra vinyl leaving only the design behind. With transfer tape, or my favorite painters tape, place strips of tape over the top of the decal.

Layer the tape until the whole design is covered.

Press lightly, then gently lift the decal from the paper backing.

Position the decal onto the garbage can. Press lightly until all of the design is flat. Slowly pull the blue paint back leaving the decal behind.

Once the full design has transferred onto the can gently run you hand over the design with light pressure to finish adhering.

Alternatively you can accomplish the same look if you don’t have a cutting machine using printable sticker paper. Print out the vintage laundry decal and adhere to the trash bin.
