Red, White, & Blue Farmhouse Table Decor Ideas

Wishing you a Memorial Day filled with family, love, and memory. However, you choose to spend the day it’s often a time to join with friends and family. We’ll be gathering to kickoff the summer with grilling and games remembering those that made the ultimate sacrifice. This beautiful rustic red, white, and blue tablescape is the perfect ode to summer. We’ll be leaving our patriotic farmhouse table decor up until the Fourth of July.

Red, White, and Blue Farmhouse Table Decor

I gathered up a few of the decor pieces I had on hand to create a red, white, and blue farmhouse inspired table complete with pinwheels, flags, and bandanas. We’re slowly curating our favorite items to fill our new home with. I love grabbing neutral items that can be easily themed for different holidays or parties.

To start with the centerpiece, I placed a galvanized metal tray on top of some butcher paper. I didn’t have a white table runner on hand, but the paper runner is the perfect spot to color, play games, and leave messages while you wait for dinner to be served. Inside the metal tray I placed 2 clear milk jars filled with pebbles. The pebbles were an easy addition to hold the flags and pinwheels in place. Lastly I added silk baby’s breath to a star cutout lantern. It added a delicate and elegant touch to the centerpiece.

For place settings I used an oversized red dinner plate topped with a white dessert/salad plate. Cutlery was placed inside a bandana repurposed as a napkin for the occasion. I simply folded into a pouch and slid the knife, fork, and spoon inside.

While everything isn’t in use we’ve moved it over to the buffet for a wonderful rustic setup. I love the mix of classic farmhouse (mason jars, milk jugs, and bandanas), whimsy (pinwheel and baby’s breath), and touches of industrial with the galvanized steel.
