Last week I shared how our family creates an easy sundae bar with ice cream and Smucker’s® toppings from Walmart.  The possibilities with ice cream are endless and it’s so much fun to see everyone’s unique creations.

My favorite combination is mint and chocolate.  This sundae ended up being one of the favorites of the night.  The kids totally bought into the magic shell and loved to watch it mysteriously go from a liquid to a solid.

For this sundae I layered 2 scoops of ice-cream with a cookie crumble layer.  Then topped it with a generous drizzle of magic shell.   The cool and creamy ice cream paired wonderfully with the coolness of the mint and the crunch of the cookies.  The magic shell itself had flecks of choc0late wafers.

While I love to top my sundaes with as much chocolate and sweets, my husband is at the opposite of the spectrum.  His favorite ice cream toppings are fruit, thankfully Smucker’s makes a delicious selection of fruit toppings perfect for a banana split.

For my husbands sundae I layered ice-cream with pineapple and strawberry.  The crazy man doesn’t like hot fudge too much so I sprinkled a few mini chocolate chips on top to finish off his banana split.

Cand Bar Sundae| Make Any Day a Sundae | #SundaeFundae #ad
For my boys I knew they would love a candy bar sundae.  They are middle of the road kids and will take anything sweet you put in front of them.  A banana split is normally what I make them, but for this special night I decided to go all out.  There sundae received a drizzle of caramel and a heaping spoonful of candy bites.

Smucker’s ice cream toppings are the perfect addition to our family ice cream nights.  What are your favorite ways to top a sundae?
