Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey {Family Friday}

06/22/2012

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’ve said it before, the circus has strong memories for me. From a show outdoors, to an arena, to the big top; I have seen it all. I was so excited to take Aiden to his first circus, and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey did not disappoint.
One of our favorites was definitely the pre-show; FREE to all ticket holders.  Starting 90 minutes (animals) and 60 minutes (arena floor) before each show, this is your opportunity to get up close to the acts.
This circus had everything you would expect: clowns, animals, motorcycles, acrobats, and trapeze artists; plus an ongoing storyline. The big show ends with a surprise visit from this circus’ namesake.
The acts were engaging and action packed enough to keep our almost 3 year old entertained; we lasted for almost the whole show. I will say that this was a long show, lasting about 2.5 hours. While I don’t think we could’ve done without any of the acts, they definitely could’ve been shortened at times. I wish we would have braved it to the end because we missed the Dragon.
The show is here in Tucson for 5 more showings.
Saturday, 6/23 @ 11am, 3pm, and 7pm
Sunday, 6/24 @ 1pm and 5pm

Then it’s onto Phoenix at the US Airways Center, running Wednesday, June 27th to Sunday, July 1st.

I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets to Feld shows and opportunities to attend private Feld pre-‐Show events.  As always all opinions and thoughts are my own.
