Staying Fresh Naturally with Tom’s Natural Deodorant-AP

Ever heard of the Flat Stanley Project?  Well that one lovely book has inspired many recreations.  The adults even get in on the fun documenting their adventures with a favorite item.  It’s fun way for kids, and adults to journal visually and through print.  This is my version, my summer adventures with my family and Fresh Tom.  Instead of letters I’m documenting it right here on the blog.  Our summer has been non-stop and with an active day to day Tom’s of Maine deodorant products are just what I need.  A good antiperspirant with natural ingredients is a must.

This summer we discovered the most delicious donut shop.  They just opened their doors and I almost wish I didn’t know.  Not necessarily the breakfast of champions, but at least I know they are making them fresh without preservatives.  Natural foods was one of the first things we made the switch too and we try to stick to that with the exception of a few vices.  I start my day with Donutsville and Tom’s natural deodorant-AP.

The library is one of our favorite places year round.  They have fantastic children and family programs, but during the summer they really pack it in.  With a large selection of videos and books for the kiddos it’s the perfect stay-cool summer activity.  After stocking up on summer reads I let the kids loose in the indoor play area.  They play trains and build blocks until it’s time for the next activity.  Tom’s still with me providing wetness protection with an ingredient made from recycled aluminum.

Well the park is more like a place we visit at dusk or early in the morning.  It’s usually short lived in the summer because of the sweltering heat.  We usually reserve the summer for playtime at the splash pads or fun and unique parks like the train park or this treehouse themed jungle gym. This summer has been good to me as a mom.  I’ve had so many opportunities to experience things with my family and make memories.  A nice balance between family time and me time has been achieved.  A girls weekend with my friends of 25+ years, many nights out for events or just to hang out with my westside girls, then the conferences.  Thankfully one guy has my back when I’m out providing me natural fragrance with no artificial preservatives.  Olive leaf extract helps too as an anti-microbial.

The summer is half way over but I’m so thankful for the memories we’ve made.  I’m not letting anything get in my way.  With a dance recital, conference, getaway trip, and family reunion behind us we have many more adventures to come.
