Holiday Snowflake M&M Cookies | The perfect cookie for Santa. #BakeInTheFun AD #recipe
Holiday baking season is upon us and it’s never to early to start plotting out the perfect cookie for Santa.  We take it pretty serious around here and always bake up something special for the man in the red suit.  From the time I was little he would get his own very specially decorated cookie topped with my favorite M&M’s® Holiday Peanut Butter.  This year is no different thanks to this delicious recipe MARS sent over for us to try.  I think they’ve crafted up the perfect treat for holiday parties, cookie exchanges, and especially Saint Nick.

How fun are these Holiday Snowflake Cookies with M&M’s®?!  They are the perfect holiday cookie chocked full of sprinkles, a dusting of powdered sugar snow, and adorned with red and green M&M’s® Holiday.  My boys surely had fun baking this recipe up with me.  Right now you can even grab Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Holiday Cake Mix with festive red and green sprinkles to really put the holiday touch on these treats.

Holiday baking is a big event in our home.  We pull out the old records, sing loudly to classic carols, and dance around the kitchen making a delicious mess.  By the end of the night we’ve got a variety of treats to enjoy for the entire month.  We may even share, delivering a few to neighbors and family.  We are always adding a new variety to the rooster and this year it’s holiday snowflake cookies.

Santa’s cookies wouldn’t be complete without a large glass of cold milk, right?  You can stock up on all the supplies for these delicious cookies at Walmart including Great Value milk for the big man.  In the spirit of the season The Great American Milk Drive is delivering gallons of milk to families in need and you can help.  For a small donation at pourmilklove.com you can help Feeding America provide essential nutrients to a family in need in your local community.

Feeding America food banks are in great need of milk donations.  It’s no surprise milk, a perishable item, is not often donated. On average the food banks can supply one gallon of milk per person per year.   To find out more about how your small donation can make an impact log onto milklife.com/give.  Right now when you purchase 2 bags of M&M’s at Walmart (9.4 oz bags or larger), up to a gallon of milk will be donated to the drive!

Barb. I have not tried this method, but would think it would require a little counter time to soften up again. They aren’t a cookie that spreads well so keeping them super cold would give you a rounder/taller cookie.

Use a cookie scoop or two spoons to drop the dough balls onto the baking sheet.

I just tried to make these.. and they turned out terrible. The dough was hard to work with. The tops didn’t crinkle at all and it was hard to get them off the pan. I followed the directions and put them on a wire rack right after and they just fell through. Upset to say the least.

Hi Emma. I’m sorry to hear the recipe did not work out for you. Did you use frozen whipped topping like Cool Whip?
