As You Wish {giveaway}

Hey everyone last month my whole family was invited to a pre-opening soiree at the Westgate As You Wish store.  They treated us to a dinner hosted by Papa Murphy’s and treats from Gigi’s Cupcakes.  We received complimentary studio fees and a ceramic piece of our choosing as a thank you.  I was a little stressed venturing to paint with 2 boys under 5, but the staff was fantastic.  They catered to our table; helping clear our dirty palettes and even helped with perfect handprints!  We all can’t wait to go back.  

As You Wish offers up a great selection of events, classes, and even glass fusion.  What’s glass fusion you say?  Kind of like stained glass, it’s the process of cutting and gluing glass to create a design.  Pricing is all inclusive and includes any applicable studio fees.  You can fuse for as little as $12!  I already want to head back with my friends for a night out.  I’m thinking holiday ornaments or Santa’s cookie plate.  

Getting started at As You Wish is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Pick out a piece of pottery (or glass). 
2. Paint, decorate and design your piece.
3. Wait, in just a few days you piece will be glazed, fired, and ready to take home.

The whole family decided to paint something we could use at home, creating a matching popcorn bowl set to go with one bowl we had already.  My husband and I suppressed our inner perfectionist and let the kids paint however they wanted.  I am so happy with the outcome.  Our oldest did request some help from mom to make it just so, takes after us I guess.
