You guys I am so excited, this is the first year I get to celebrate Teacher Appreciation week as a parent. I’ve been on the other end and live the teacher life daily with my rocking music educator husband. This year though I get to give, get to appreciate the teachers working hard. I wanted to show his teachers how much we appreciate the time they’ve given into making an awesome school year for Aiden. I created these teacher appreciation printables for the first day. We are recognizing them each day with one of their favorite things. Each printable corresponds to a classic candy bar flavor. Take a moment to learn a little bit about them. They’ll appreciate you for the thoughtfulness.
Tie or tape this one onto an Almond Joy. We picked up a small package of fun size bars for about $1, then added them to a cute double walled mason jar.
This one will work for any candy bar. If the creative juices aren’t flowing and you’re stumped this is a great option. Our cup was filled with Snickers. Lots of creative lines there, but decided to go with a simple thank you.
This might just be my favorite one. One of the teacher’s liked dark chocolate. I was trying to make each of the cards unique. There was no creative spin I could do on dark chocolate. The boys are big into Cars right now so we upped the dark chocolate to cacao and let Lightening McQueen say the rest.
Whether you say thank you with a card, favorite candy bar, gift card, or pick some flowers from the garden I can speak from experience that any thought brightens their day. Say thank you to a teacher today.
