Jake and the Neverland Pirates: Bucky Cupcakes

My kiddos LOVE Jake and the Neverland pirates.  In fact last year the whole family dressed up as the Neverland pirates for Halloween.  We are getting ready for a fun #DisneyKids playdate tomorrow.  We’ll be serving up some fun Jake and the Neverland Pirates themed food and I couldn’t resist making these adorable Bucky cupcakes.  They were so simple to make in just a few steps.

Supplies
bamboo skewers
printable sails and pirate flag
peanut butter cup
double sided tape
cupcakes

Print and cut out the Bucky PDF.  You can grab a Cricut Explore (.svg) print and cut file here.  

Use a mini hole punch to put 2 holes at the top and bottom of each sail.

Slide each sail onto the skewer.  Carefully bend each sail to add dimension.

Use a skewer to pre-drill a whole into a peanut butter cup.  Slide the PB cup on top of the sails.

Fold the flags in half and place a strip of double-side tape on one side.  Place the flag over the skewer and press together.

Take your skewer and stick into a cupcake.  We used Kimberly’s BakeShoppe pumpkin spice.  The color was perfect and the sprinkle of spice on top looked like sand. Perfect!
