I had already started packing and creating for this year’s conference, when I realized I hadn’t shared last year’s customs ensembles. While the boys are still young I love coordinating them. They think it’s so much fun, but it also makes it easy to keep track of them in crowds.
For the first set we went with Toy Story. Each boy had their own custom shirt and short set with adorable Buzz and Woody fabric accents.
Supplies:
t-shirt
heat and bond
fabric
thread (optional)
cutting machine (optional)
Directions:
Select your favorite Toy Story fabric and back with Heat and Bond Ultra Hold (affiliate link) or another favorite stiff fusible web.
Place the iron-on backed fabric with the paper backing onto your preferred cutting mat, fabric side up.
Size your sheriff badge image and/or pocket graphic for each shirt. Set your cutting machine to fabric or max speed and max pressure with blade depth at 5. Make sure to designate a blade for fabric cuts only.
Carefully peel your fabric image from the mat. Remove the paper backing and iron onto your fabric. Hand stitch around the edges or sew for fusible webs that are machine friendly.
