It is hard to believe that this little guy has been with us almost a year. It’s even harder to admit that his big brother will be 4 in less than 2 months!
My little guy is getting big way too fast. The outfit he is wearing is something that was too big for brother at his first birthday. If someone finds a way to make time go just a little bit slower let me know. Gone are the days he will willingly lay in my arms awake gazing. It’s now been replaced with squirms and willful pushes to escape my arms and be mobile.
Speaking of mobility; he’s cruising now. He’s still working on mastering the crawl, but has the worm down beautifully. And he’s fast. This ball of joy still admires his big brother. Buh-Buh (Aiden) and Da always get the best giggles out of him. Mommy gets the smiles.
Food remains an issue. After his 9 month appointment we were advised to add in probiotics and stick to things that weren’t too binding. We’ve had major poop issues, as in we aren’t. The boy does fine on a liquid only diet (nursing), but add in any kind of food and it becomes a problem. We are trying to find a balance with Baby-led Weaning and allowing him to take the lead. He is definitely showing more interest, but still the poop.
His favorites are blueberries, yogurt (enjoys sharing with brother), applesauce, and red potato slices. He gets excited now when he pulls up to the table and when he’s on liquids only gets a bit peeved he isn’t nibbling too.
