Just this past week I had the opportunity to head to Encanto Park for a park play date hosted by White Cloud Diapers. I have lots of memories of Kiddie Land and Encanto so I was excited to share it with my boys. We spent the morning meeting some new buddies and playing on the playground.
There were lots of snacks and yummy cookies at our baby shower themed party. Aren’t they so cute? I never really got to finish one as my oldest kept running off with my half eaten bits.
No baby shower would be complete without humiliating games, right? Who knew drinking from a bottle was so hard. All out mouths were sore after drinking just 2 ounces of water. This photo courtesy of my 3 1/2 year old who got a kick out of mom drinking from a bottle.
The kids were quite helpful on this next one. A spin on the classic baby food game. This time we could use our sight and smell to make a decision. I gave up after a couple diapers as Aiden was having so much fun checking out the contents of each diaper. I couldn’t get my hands on one long enough to make a decision. Those #WhiteCloudDiapers had no idea what they were in for.
Now, if you’ve been around for a while you might remember when big brother was 18 months old he had a terrible reaction to diapers. We were pretty sure it was a chemical burn so we switched over to cloth. So when baby #2 arrived we continued down the same route. With both kiddos there have been many times when we had to use disposables though. On a long trip with no way to wash or someone else watching them that won’t use cloth. When this happens I hate to spend a ton on disposables, and I want to make sure it is something that won’t irritate their sensitive skin.
I was so excited to find out at our play date that Wal-Mart’s relaunched White Cloud Diapers are hypoallergenic and fragrance free. That means they won’t irritate my son’s sensitive skin. They are also cottony soft inside and out with extra quilted goodness for the real little ones (size NB, 1, & 2).
And an added bonus White Cloud Diapers come with a wetness indicator through size 2. Now that makes more sense. I could never understand why the wetness indicator only came on size newborn; this is definitely a handy tool for late night changes.
If you were following along on Twitter last Wednesday you might have noticed #WhiteCloudDiapers popping up often. Well, I was working hard to win this Petunia Pickle Bottom bag. I’m excited to say that I was the lucky winner and I just LOVE it. It’s been a dream purchase far out of my reaches since baby #1. The backpack feature and built in changing pad are my favorite options. It has made going out with 2 little guys so much easier.
