Just when I thought the nausea and morning sickness were over the third trimester hit and so did the nausea. Not quite with the same amount of disruption, but definitely noticeable discomfort.
In the beginning I tried lots of home remedies. Saltines before getting out of bed, medical bracelets… They offered some relief, but nothing long term. The medical bracelets I used looked like old style sweat bands with a one size fits all philosophy. By the end of the day I was left with impressions of the bracelet and the band on my wrists.
In steps a new band on board, Psi Bands. A stylish, waterproof, and adjustable wristband for the relief of nausea. Most importantly it’s drug-free and FDA-cleared for the relief of nausea due to travel/motion sickness, pregnancy, chemotherapy, and anesthesia.
I wore mine comfortably for a whole day. It fit and adjusted just like a watch. The pressure point bead was also adjustable. And because they come in 5 different styles I could have multiple bands to mix and match with my outfits each day. Men suffer from nausea too, right? PsiBands has them covered with 2 gender neutral styles.
Now all I need is a bracelet to relieve Heartburn.
PsiBands are available at several big name retailers. I’ve seen them now at Babies ‘r’ Us and Whole Foods. Reasonably priced at around $15 they are a solution I will be using, especially for our road trips.
Do you ever suffer from nausea? What remedies have you tried?
Disclosure: I was provided with a PsiBand for the purpose of this review. As always all opinions are my own. I would never recommend something that I wouldn’t use myself.
