Shabby Chic Headband Storage

I’m so excited!  I became an auntie back in November.  I was blessed with a beautiful niece and I couldn’t wait to start crafting with lace and flowers and sparkles.  So for Christmas I decided to make her a ton of headbands (more on that later) and of course she needed a place to put all those headbands.  

I knew exactly what headband storage I wanted to match her shabby chic nursery.  A fun frame with a chicken wire insert to hold all her accessories.  I was ready to DIY with a staple gun, but lucked out and found exactly what I needed at the craft store.  I opted to leave it natural and jazz it up with some fun mini clothespins.  Just a strip of washi tape on the top to add a bit of color.  

Can’t find a pre-made chicken wire frame at your craft store?  That’s okay it’s easy to create your own with these simple steps.

1. Find a frame you like.  Flip it over and remove the backing.  
2. Measure to get the sizing for your chicken wire.
3. Cut your chicken wire to size and secure with staples.
4. Hang on your wall and secure headbands with small clothespins.
