Fall is upon us and in many parts of the country as it’s starting to cool down. The holiday season brings with it not only beautiful fall décor, but delicious foods. When you think Fall what’s the first thing that comes to mind? pumpkins! This year I have been on the hunt for delicious recipes that incorporate this delicious squash, and what better place to look than Pinterest. Searching boards of harvest orange, leaves my mouth watering.
A staple for the holiday season. Pumpkin roll is one of those treats that can go from September to December. Did you know it freezes beautifully?
We were a house (unevenly) divided. Jd, Aiden, and I all gave these crustless pumpkin pies a thumbs up. MIL a big thumbs down. my least favorite part of pie is the pastry crust. It adds to the texture of the pie, but I generally leave the back crust alone. It had a semi-pumpkin pie texture, but because it uses flour verged on being a muffin or bread.
This gingerbread pumpkin torte looks divine and would be a great alternative to pumpkin pie.
I can vouch for the deliciousness of this French toast (it’s my recipe). I was inspired to make some after seeing a recipe in Jessica Simpson’s book, Deceptively Delicious. I added a little spice to give it a real pumpkin pie taste.
