{Mamavation} Monday: Week 12

 This weeks weight marks a .4 pound gain.  I’m not stressing because during the last 2 week challenge I didn’t lose a pound.  I saw results with inches.  I’m going to wait this out and see the inches next week at the end of the challenge.  
I’m a bit nervous going off to work.  I have butterflies in my stomach anticipating the big announcement today.  Who is going to be in the finals?  Who is going to get a chance to be the first Mamavation couples?  Come back tomorrow for an UPDATE.  Minutes after publishing this post I recieved an email announcing the finalists.  JD and I along with 4 other fantastic couples will be competing for your votes this week to be the first ever Mamavation couples.  Either way I’m in it for the long haul.  The rest of us ladies will be participating in a “Move it or Lose it” challenge.  You can help though by checking out the Mamavation website tomorrow and place a vote for your favorite couple.

Voting is happening TODAY through October 10th and ends 9pm EST. The nerves are settling back in as we will make our first ever appearance on Mamavation TV tonight.  Come watch and support us tonigh as we share our story, Aiden might even make an appearance. 
I have a few things to work on for the following week.   Reality is I forget to drink water.  I have the best intentions bringing 3-4 filled bottles to work, but when I get home I’ve only drank one.  Perfect as this weeks sponsor is Brita and I’ve taken a challenge to drink 8-10 classes of water today.  
Next, I need to remember to wear my pedometer EVERYDAY!  I’ve managed to wear it only twice this past week.  As I’m in the car for most of the day it helps me greatly.  I’m aware of how much I’m sitting throughout the day, and how much I need to move when I get home.  Today I’m wearing my tennis shoes and I’m going to try and work in a walk at lunch.  Most days I’m eating it in the car, but my goal is to make a conscious effort to walk once a day at work.
My big victory for the week is doing a perfect “girly” pushup.  I’m working towards a full on pushup.  This week’s was so much better than the first week of challenges.  My form is so gorgeous and I’m actually reaching the floor now in one fluid motion.
