Weekly Loss: 2 pounds
Total Loss: 20 Pounds!!!
So I missed last week. Since joining Mamavation I have only missed 2 weeks. And that was in the past month. I’ve been really sick for 4 weeks now. One round of antibiotics (made me nauseous and loopy, thank god it wasn’t the pregnancy), 6 sick days from work, raw nose, annoying cough, chills, body ache, I’ve seen it all. Now I’m ready to see the world. This lady is getting cabin fever and is ready to kick this thing.
I’ve been at this for 7 months now. That’s an average of almost 3 pounds a month. It’s slow moving, but I am happy with where I’m at. The slower I take it off the longer I’ll keep it off. I’m not doing anything drastic that I can’t stick with that won’t last. I’m committing to a diet and exercise plan that will last me a lifetime.
I don’t want to see this weight again. Given soon I will start adding the pounds back on. It’s easy weight to gain as it will help to nourish a healthy babe. With my son it has taken 2.5 years to lose the weight and some. This time around I’m setting a 6 month goal. It will take 6 months to gain the weight and hopefully loose it. I’m getting in the mindset now. With Aiden I lazily enjoyed my maternity leave and sat on the couch. I had intentions of walking everyday, but I was always tired.
Not this time. Now I’ll have a baby and a toddler. Aiden’s going to be my motivator. Park dates, walks around the neighborhood, trips to the zoo. Anything to get us out of the house and moving. I want to pickup the momentum and get healthy.
I plan on doing this as soon as I’m not sick. The weather should be turning warmer soon, the sun is staying out later, and I’m looking forward to Spring in Arizona.
What do you look forward to doing when the weather warms up?
