One of my favorite desserts for summer is ice cream. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a backyard BBQ or after a long day of playing outdoors. What’s even better is the endless combinations with delicious Smucker’s® ice cream toppings. Putting together a fun sundae bar has never been easier.

While I was shopping at Walmart I stocked up on all our sundae needs. I was amazed at the variety of Smucker’s ice cream toppings available. Don’t worry I showed restraint and put a few of the topping selections back. Walmart is the perfect one stop shop for summertime fun, and with Smucker’s everyday is sundae!

Turning an ordinary bowl of ice cream into something extraordinary is easy with just a few supplies. Make sundae assembly simple by creating a station with all your ingredients and materials. Provide guests with a variety of toppings, mix-ins, and ice cream flavors. Place fudge in a pourable container and fruit toppings in a shallow bowl with a serving spoon. Make things even more simple by leaving easy to pour items right in their bottles.

While your out shopping at Walmart picking up Smucker’s fudge, caramel, and fruit toppings grab up some of your favorite candies and sprinkles. My kid’s eyes widened with delight when they saw the glass dishes filled with tiny marshmallows, chocolate chips, and nonpareils. The small containers make it easy for guests to sprinkle right into their ice cream bowl.

I love the idea of a sundae bar! It allows everyone to customize their ice cream and keeps me out of the kitchen. Make setup and cleanup quick by placing everything on a few trays. It contains spills and makes clearing fast.
