It’s St. Patricks Day Eve and as always my husband and I are up late playing leprechaun. This is our second year playing this tricky fairy. Last year he littered our home with green and shamrocks, this year he’s spreading a bit of color with rainbows.
Our leprechaun was feeling a bit left out. He decided to spice things up with a bit of fun. He made some improvements on breakfast and our decor. These are the perfect last minute St. Patricks day ideas. A little green food coloring to add some color to the milk and a note to remind us he’s ready to play. “This whole Easter thing is killing me. Enjoy the improvements. Mr. L.”
Our rabbit was given some attire for the occasion. A fitting top hat and bright orange beard cut out of simple card stock.
A ribbon rainbow lead to a delicious pot of gold. The pot is a salsa bowl filled with Reese’s cups.
It’s not too late to play leprechaun. Most of these items we had at home. A quick grocery trip returned with Reese’s and Lucky Charms.
