We had so much fun this Easter. The weekend of fun started on Saturday. We celebrated my grandma’s GG’s 90th birthday. Aiden began that day with an Easter hunt hosted by Common Ground Church in Sahuarita. They always put on such a nice event, and the people are so friendly. I was so happy to get a picture of Aiden with the Easter Bunny. He wanted nothing to do with Santa, but climbed right up in the Bunny’s lap by himself. He was pulling me the whole way through the line.
Later in the day we enjoyed our Easter ham and Apple Crisp; my first try. Aiden got to dye lick eggs. He had fun using the whisk to drop them in the colors. We managed to spill only one cup.
We decided to use the dyed eggs for deviled eggs and potato salad. Aiden enjoyed much more finding the eggs filled with candy. We know for next year to hold onto the basket, though, until the end. It was all over as soon as he saw the Spiderman stuff. He found only 2-3 eggs on his own before mom and dad had to start pointing and encouraging him to finish. He enjoyed his first chocolate Easter Bunny too. We’re proud to say he went for the ears first and ended up with melted chocolate all over his hands and face.
