This past week we met up with our cousins to see Disney On Ice presents Dare To Dream. The Disney on Ice brand has quickly become a favorite of our families, can’t wait forTreasure Trove to arrive in April. Aiden’s first live show was Disney On Ice presents Pixar’s Toy Story 3; he’s been hooked since. Notice the concentration in his face. He was either dancing, watching, or discussing the show. He was completely engrossed the whole time. In fact I think mom and dad forgot to watch his reactions at times because we were in such awe.
The costumes and performers don’t disappoint. The intricacies of the horse costumes pulling the delicate carriage was so beautiful. The magic continued as each set of performers took the ice and carried us through the stories of Tangled, Cinderella, and Princess and the Frog. The solo and partner scenes were just as engaging as the group performances.
Your jaw will drop when Flynn Rider and Rapunzel take to ribbon dancing feet above the ice rink. That is another memorable moment I will take away.
A short intermission gave the kids time to stretch and discuss. The look on his face says everything. It was a bit chilly near the ice. I would suggest layers so everyone can be comfortable to enjoy the show. Like any show food and souvenir temptations were everywhere. I’d suggest setting a limit before leaving with your kiddo. They might have to make a choice between a pricey crown topped cotton candy or princess stuffed animal. We managed to make it home with just the $20 program that was given to us. Getting there right before the show reduces the time wandering and spending.
