Our family over the past couple of years has been on a mission to replace all chemicals in the house with homemade or environmentally safe products. One area we haven’t conquered completely is the dishwasher. Vinegar works great as a rinse aid, but homemade detergent left our dishes and dish washer with a chalky film.
I was excited to try out a product from a company who’s mission is: Making a Healthy & Sustainable Lifestyle Easy; something I believe every mom looks for in a product.
We tried out the Automatic Dishwasher Tablets ZERO . They are a dry-compressed tablet that make for easy loading. Ecover tablets are made from plant based materials and are also phosphate free. Our dishes came out clean, spot free, and even smelled fresh. The only problem we encountered was a little bit of residue left in the corners and edges of our dishwasher. We do suffer from hard water and this could have effected our results.
Overall we were happy with the results.
