Over a year ago we had a biter on our hands. Thankfully never any kids, only mom and dad, but usually mom. As he grew out of this phase, he would only bite occasionally and usually for no obvious reason. We are going through the same thing with Emerson right now too. While he is teethin, mom and dad, are not to be used as a teething toy.
Unfortunately, I have a scar left from the last of Aiden’s little phase. He managed to take a chunk out. As I’ve gotten older I notice I don’t heal as quickly as I used to and to my downfall scar easier. This particular bite was right on my upper arm and anytime I’d cuddle or hold Aiden he’d be drawn right to my healing wound. Two things he inherited from mom, orally fixation and the affinity to pick at things. Moving right along…
So then I was left with a scar. A scar that really bothered me. It was visible and very red and raised. I resorted to covering up with concealer anytime I’d go out. I’m not usually one to be bothered by things like this, but this for some reason did.
When I had the opportunity to have Advance Scar Therapy sent to me I didn’t think twice. Beauty products aren’t something I often feature here, but if it’s natural and fits a need I have I’m game.
The directions say to “gently rub into scar 3-4 times per day for 8 weeks on new scars; 3-4 times per day for 3-6 months on existing scars.” I’ve been using it for one month to the date.
I’m really excited about the results so far. I’ve noticed a decrease in the redness and it’s starting to smooth out against my skin more. I plan on continuing up to the 6 months or until I get the desired result. (I’ll post updates).
The Dr. Max Powers Advanced Scar Therapy was created to promote cell renewal in existing scars while rebuilding collagen. The Scar Serum has also been proven to reduce hyper pigmentation.
The main ingredient of the Scar Serum is organic rosehip oil which has been proven to be effective in the regeneration of skin and provide results in the treatment of burns and scars. It contains rich antioxidants, fatty acids, and Vitamin E which can also help diminish the effects of aging.
A few notes: This bottle is huge. My scar was about the size of a pea and I’ve barely made a dent in the month I’ve been using. I’m happy to report there is no odor. I’ve used other scar repair for stretch marks like cocoa butter and vitamin E oil. Both have very strong smells and are really greasy. This is exactly as it’s described a serum, not greasy.
Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
