Wow it’s almost been a month since I’ve posted anything. Needless to say the sickies have left the Denton household and thankfully moving into my second trimester has left me with a new sense of energy and well being. I do not recommend getting pregnant and getting double sinus/bacterial infections.
With this new found energy we filled our Spring Break with lots of activities. We spent half the time down in Phoenix with family, celebrating birthday parties and visiting farms. It’s nice to return home and see everyone. The rest of the time we explored a few new places and a few oldies around town.
Although not Aiden’s first birthday party it was definitely one of the first kid parties he was aware what was going on. His big cuz quickly shuffled him into his room and set him up with a costume. This was just about the cutest thing since Aiden picked up his love of superheroes and costumes from him.
We spent another day out on the East side of town visiting a few farms. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Joe’s Farm Grill at Agritopia in Gilbert. Then we headed over to Superstition Springs Farm. It was FREE entrance and just a couple dollars later we fed the horses, sheep, and goats a few times.
On the way home Aiden got to pick out a cowboy hat and boots! Nothing cuter than a little boy in his cowboy boots.
When we arrived back home we spent a day hiking in Sabino, okay we road the tram (train as Aiden called it) and walked a bit, took a first trip for most to the Pima Air and Space Museum, and enjoyed a final day out up on Mount Lemmon.
Aiden had a nice snuggle with me before going back to work Monday. It was hard leaving my little man and his “big hugs”!
