I’ve set a goal, at least for the rest of the summer, engage in crafts a couple of times a week. There are many projects that are coming out of the closet, but this weeks was pure happenstance. Thanks to InspiredRD I came across this special craft for my little man.
I gathered up the few supplies I needed.
-Plain T-shirt
-Heat’n Bond
-Scraps of Fabric
-Iron
-Sewing Machine
-Coordinating Thread
Step 1: Iron Heat’n Bond to selected fabric.
Step 2: Attach Tie pattern to finished fabric.
Step 3: Iron “knot” and tie onto shirt.
Step 4: Use coordinating thread to stitch around the tie.
Step 5: Stand back and admire your cute creation made from just a plain t-shirt and scraps of fabric.
Aiden got in on the crafting as well. He asked to color while mom was working on his new threads.
JD loved his shirt so much he asked me to make one for him. His tie is all complete waiting for his shirt to arrive by mail. I felt a bit left out so I made myself a little rosette with the leftovers. Looking forward to taking a few snapshots with our coordinating outfits.
