I am so excited about today’s recipe. Mostly because Wayfair sent me a cotton candy machine. Can I just say I’ve always dreamt of owning one. This machine is definitely going to take birthday parties up a notch. It would have been absolutely perfect for the boys Carnival/Boardwalk themed party a few years ago.

Now the amazing thing about this particular machine is the ability to spin cotton candy from just about any hard candy. My inspiration for today’s drink, a Green Apple Cotton Candy Cosmo, came from one of my favorite hard candies, Jolly Ranchers.

This is a super tasty drink and easily made kid friendly by substituting the vodka for soda water.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 green apple Jolly Ranchers
  • 1 oz. vodka
  • 2 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1/2 lime

Instructions
 

  • Prepare cotton candy, then add to glass.
  • Mix cranberry juice, vodka, and lime juice.
  • pour mixture over cotton candy.
