UPDATE: Month in and our Dispenser is dead. Working one minute and then the next completely dead. It’s not the batteries, I replaced those. I’m getting no response at all.
As a teacher and mom the last thing I want to be worried about is germs and messes. These 2 products from Lysol® leave more time for me to spend doing the important things and less on cleanup.

Lysol® Healthy Touch® No-Touch Hand Soap System helps knock out the germs without worrying about spreading them. It’s hands free, battery operated, and comes in several different scents: grapefruit, cucumber, aloe vera, and unscented. The new system comes in a stainless steel look also so it blends in with your kitchen décor.
Lysol® Disinfecting Wipes: Dual Action are just that, 2 Sides; One for Scrubbing. One for Wiping. As always they offer the same germ fighting power Lysol is know for (99.9%).
Now on to the nitty-gritty. There were several pros and cons to each product. The thing I loved about the Hands Free system was when I cook with chicken, eggs, or just have really messy hands I won’t have to touch the dispenser and transfer bacteria and messes to the soap pump. Just stick my hand under and let it do some magic (now I just need one of those hands free faucets). I loved that it came in several different scents. I’m quite sensitive to smells and we were given the aloe vera & Vitamin E with moisturizers. This came in handy as I kept on washing my hands throughout the day, excited to use my new gadget, and my hands didn’t dry out. I would have loved one of these when I had a classroom. I hated how gunky the soap dispenser would get with 30+ hands touching it everyday after art and garden time.
There were a few downsides I could see though. First, the bottles are fairly small so I anticipate having to replace them often at an average cost of $4/bottle. As a green-conscious mom I wish they offered a bulk refill to save on packaging, but it doesn’t seem like the bottles were manufactured for this. Lastly, it doses out the same amount of soap each time. My little mans hands were coated in soap after trying it out. Not a big deal, but there was definitely a lot of soap wasted.
Not much to report on the wipes, except they were awesome. We stopped using convenience wipes a couple months ago and went to all natural disinfectant spray and a cloth, but I loved these. The wipes were extremely tough and durable. It cleaned up my gas stove top easily without breaking apart. They would have been perfect in my classroom for the kids to use on the tables after art and rainy day lunches indoors. I’m already thinking of the many household applications for them: toilets, car interior, counters, bathtub… Only downside, I hate the tube wipe containers. It’s probably user error, but I can never find the start of the roll and I always end up messing it up and end up with a wad of wipes. I much more prefer the baby wipe bins that are folded like kleenex, much less room for mishaps.
