I LOVE ice cream and pie, and well just about anything sweet. As a kid I usually asked for an ice cream pie or cake for my birthday. One of my family favorites has quickly become this banana split ice cream pie. Pie and ice cream, how can you go wrong? This pie can be as easy as store bought ingredients like I used, or if you’re feeling adventurous; homemade icecream, whip cream, and a crust from scratch.
Ingredients:
Nilla Pie Crust
1 gallon Strawberry Ice Cream
Cool Whip
Fudge
Banana
Crushed Pineapple
Directions:
-Set your ice cream out to soften.
-Spread ice cream in pie crust.
-Smooth out and return to freezer to firm up.
-Heat fudge and drizzle over ice cream.
-Return to freezer to firm up again.
-Top with cool whip and crushed pineapple. I used a pipping bag to create a decorative swirl.
