This past week and the days coming we are preparing for our 5K. That means the costumes are almost made, that’s right costumes, the bags are almost pack (LOTS of laundry), and I’m mentally and physically preparing for the run. Here’s a sneak peek of my Disney themed costume and my SIL’s.
My one struggle this week are these little laddies . That’s right yours and my yearly nemesis. I’m not proud that I can level a whole box or a few in one sitting. This year we’re single portioning the whole box and limiting when we can eat them. I’m not going to deny myself though. I know that is a recipe for disaster.
We also overhauled the pantry and did some bulk shopping. I’m excited to have a backup pantry with all the essentials to limit shopping to weekly for the fresh stuff. It has already helped so much with planning and prepping meals for the week. My next goal is doing some batch cooking and freezing. What’s your favorite batch meal? Share your recipes below.
